My Priorities

I firmly believe that priorities are meaningless without evidence of a track record in fulfilling previous commitments. In 2022, after proven service to Cordwainer as a ward councillor, I stood for election as Alderman on a set of very clear undertakings:

I was subsequently elected as Alderman winning a clear majority, reflecting the trust placed in me by our Ward's businesses, residents and institutions. Since then, I have focused relentlessly on delivery, accountability and teamwork, championing Cordwainer at Guildhall and beyond. Working closely with Cordwainer's councillors and other stakeholders, I have supported our businesses, worshippers and residents, promoted the City's global financial leadership, and strengthened our Ward's civic life.

I have worked hard to remain visible and responsive, ensuring that voter concerns are heard and acted upon. I also very much remain that modern, fresh Alderman, and have been instrumental in initiating the City's ongoing commitment to the ethical use and adoption of AI. I've also represented our Lord Mayors at high-profile events meaning that our ward and its community has reach far beyond the City.

I will work with employers, schools and partners to open pathways into the City, nurture early career talent and promote lifelong learning and upskilling.

Make the City more inclusive, accessible and green

I will promote a City where everyone can participate fully - improving physical accessibility and the qulaity of the public realm, including enhancing our City's green spaces.

Modernise while respecting our traditions

I will support sensible reform of City governance, embracing innovation and technology while safeguarding the heritage and institutions that make the Square Mile unique.
